PaperShort turns research papers into short animated explainer videos. This page explains what we store and what we email.

What we store

What we email

Only transactional messages about videos you asked for: one email when your video is ready (with its link), or one if it couldn't be made (with the reason). No newsletters or marketing. Replies reach the site's owner.

YouTube

PaperShort may publish generated explainer videos to its own YouTube channel. To do that, the site's owner connects PaperShort's YouTube channel through Google OAuth; PaperShort stores only the resulting access token, uses it only to upload and update videos on that channel, and never accesses any visitor's Google or YouTube account. PaperShort's use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Google user data is handled in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Deleting your data

Email stannor@gmail.com and we'll delete your account and request history.
